阿伯丁中央图书馆建立与1892年，著名企业家、慈善家Andrew Carnegie为图书馆揭幕。馆内主要收藏了大量的本地地图，超过15000张照片，出生和死亡记录以及大量的当地旧报纸。图书馆大部分的藏品都已储存在缩微胶卷。
